How do I book a court?
You can book a court remotely using the GoBook app, or you can go directly to the club and use the computer located downstairs.
How much do the lights cost?
The lights cost R42 per hour per court. If you are playing singles, it works out to R21 per member.
Can I practice solo?
Yes, solo practice is allowed. Please request the pin number from the club to avoid being charged a R60 visitor’s fee. If you only use one pin number, the system assumes you are a visitor.
Can I access the courts 24/7?
Yes, the courts can be accessed at any time using the fingerprint reader, which is available to all members.
Do you have social leagues?
Yes, we run internal club leagues throughout the year, ensuring that you will always have a game to join.
Do you have a members' club night?
Yes, we host a free club night every Friday. You’re also welcome to invite a friend who may be interested in joining. A friend can attend a maximum of three times for free before they are expected to join the club.
Do you allow visitors?
Yes, visitors are welcome between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. However, visitors cannot book courts, as this is a privilege reserved for members. The visitor rate is R50 per player (subject to change). Visitors can ring the bell at the security gate, and a staff member will let them in.
What equipment would one we need to play squash?
The correct equipment to play squash is a squash racket and a squash ball, preferably a double yellow dot.
Can you use any type of shoes on the squash court?
No, only shoes with non-marking soles are allowed on a squash court i.e., squash shoes.
Do you have any player contact for social games?
Yes, players can be contacted on various social media platforms at the club.
Does the club do restringing of rackets?
Yes, for more information, see details placed on the club notice board and on the website.
Does the club offer a sports shop to buy equipment or apparel?
No, but there are distributors of certain racket brands at the club. See the notice board or ask at the bar for details.
Do you offer racketball at the club?
Yes, racketball can be played at the club.
